The Library provides access to a wide range of e-books, which can be read online and also downloaded to your computer or other electronic devices. All of our e-books can be accessed via the library catalogue.

Using an e-book can offer a number of advantages over a traditional printed book. You can keyword search, make notes to refer to later,  quickly copy/print sections or download the e-book to read offline (please note downloads are available for a limited time period).   Also, multiple users can read the same e-book at once.

Using an e-book should be convenient, quick and easy. However, e-book platforms are constantly evolving and sometimes technical glitches can occur. Please visit our FAQs section for help with using e-books or contact the library helpdesk if you require any assistance.

Please note that the downloading of Dawsonera ebooks on to Apple IPads and IPhones for offline reading is currently not possible due to technical problems. Dawsonera ebooks can still be read online on these devices where you have a wireless connection.
