Receiving your inter library loan
Books, Journals, Music, Conference Papers, Reports
- You will receive a text or email asking you to collect your item from the Help Desk at either Penryn Campus Library or Falmouth Campus Library during staffed hours
- Books can normally be borrowed for 5 weeks, but this may vary
- Books may be recalled
Journal Articles
- If the article is supplied to us electronically Electronic Delivery (SED) you will receive an email with a link to the article
- Alternatively, you will receive a text or email asking you to collect a photocopy (that you may keep) from the Help Desk at either Penryn Campus Library or Falmouth Campus Library during staffed hours
Renewing your inter library loan
You can request a renewal by:

Please Note: All staff and students will be charged £5.35 to renew British Library items and £5 to renew items from Edinburgh Napier University Library. If a member of staff or student returns an item and then requests it again, this new request cannot be processed for 30 days and there is no guarantee it will be available for borrowing.
Returning your inter library loan
- Return items promptly to the Help Desk at either Campus Library
- Overdue items will be charged a renewal fee of £5.35
- Outside of Help Desk hours at the Penryn Campus Library, you may deposit your items into one of the returns bins
