Your guide to the library’s computers, software, printers and copiers
If you prefer to use your own device, study spaces feature power sockets for charging your laptop, tablet or phone. High speed wifi is available for all library users, including visitors.
Computers at your Campus Libraries
Both libraries have Windows computers and Macs for university students and staff. Software installed on our computers includes Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp.
Non-university borrowers can use some of our computers to view online resources.
Where you'll find our IT suites
At Penryn Campus Library, there is a large IT suite on the entrance level, with further computers around the library.
At Falmouth Campus Library, there are computers spread throughout the library. A dedicated Mac Suite can also be found in the nearby Fox 3 building.
Signing in with your university sign-in
To use a library computer, you will need to sign in using your university account. If you have an issue with signing in, IT Services can help.
Printers on campus
You can print, scan and photocopy at both Penryn Campus Library and Falmouth Campus Library.
If you’re using a library computer, printing is easy: simply print as normal when signed in. To release your printing, tap your card to the printer. To scan or copy, tap your card to the printer and follow the on-screen instructions. Library staff are around to help.
Print from your own computer
If you’re using your own device, upload your files using the online PaperCut service. Then, tap your university card to the printer and select release.
Using print credit
Printing on campus has a small charge. To buy print credit, use the online payment portal. Credit will be added to your account and automatically subtracted when you print.
Falmouth University staff and students
Falmouth University students and academic staff can access online resources through the Library Search, module resource lists, or subject guides.
